Dr. Carolyn Halladay

Senior Lecturer

Carolyn Halladay is an historian and a lawyer, who also teaches in the National Security Affairs department at NPS. Before joining the CCMR faculty, she was a lecturer in history at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. She has also taught history and international relations at the graduate and undergraduate levels at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She worked as a research analyst in the Office of the Historian, U.S. Department of State and as a federal tax prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice, in addition to legal assignments in the U.S. Departments of Defense and Transportation. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
