Asia - Pacific Regional Programs Coordinator
COL(Ret) Hansen served 25 years in the United States Army. His last 12 years
of service were in the Asia-Pacific Region. Much of this time was spent serving on the Pacific Army and Pacific
Command Headquarters Staff. From 2005 through 2007 he served in Afghanistan as an assistant to the Afghan Minister
of Defense and then as the Director for reform and development of the Afghan National Army Air Corps. Prior to
retirement from active duty in 2009, he was the Director for the US Army Pacific Training and Exercises Programs.
COL (Ret) Hansen now serves as a Program Manager with Camber Corporation’s International Civil-Military Group.
Graduate of the US Military Academy, West Point. Holds a Master’s Degree in Military Art and Science, Command
and General Staff College, 1995, and is a Master’s candidate in Diplomacy and Military Studies,
Hawaii Pacific University.
