Elisabeth Wright
Elisabeth Wright is the program manager for the
International
Defense
Acquisition Resources Management program in the School of International
Graduate Studies, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California,
USA. She also teaches resident and in country courses within the program.
Prior to her current appointment, she was the Director of the Master
of Science Program in Acquisition Management at The George Washington
University, School of Business and Public Management.
Professor Wright holds her doctorate from the University of Southern California, School
of Policy, Planning and Development. She was the recipient of the Bryce Harlow
Fellowship for graduate studies, receiving her Master of Science degree in Acquisition
and Contract Management, with honors, from Florida Tech. She has a Bachelor of
Science in Business degree from the University of Maryland. Prior to her career in
academia, she was a senior level acquisition manager within the Department of the Navy
and the Department of Energy.
Professor Wright is designated a Certified Professional Contracts
Manager (CPCM) and was awarded the fellow's distinction by the National
Contract Management Association. She is a frequent speaker at various
conferences and is a former member of the Research Advisory Board
of the Federal Acquisition Institute. She is a former member of the
Acquisition Corps, Department of the Navy. |
